Hi all,
At Diamond we're currently looking at using GigE cameras on our new
beamlines. We've been testing the prosilica GC series using Mark's
prosilica areaDetector driver, and have been very happy with the
results. Unfortunately this camera doesn't support power over ethernet,
which would simplify cabling a lot.
We've identified 2 new cameras that will support power over ethernet,
the AVT (formerly prosilica) Manta:

led-manta.html
And the Basler Ace:

Has anyone written areaDetector support for Basler GigE cameras? Does
anyone know of any other forthcoming GigE PoE cameras?
Thanks,
Tom Cobb,
