I would suggest starting by just trying to compile your code against 3.14.11.  
I believe the CA Reference manual no longer documents all of the deprecated 
API calls but the code still supports most if not all of them.  You will need 
to make changes if you have multiple threads making CA calls, but for many 
single-threaded client applications I believe a recompile can be sufficient.
