Hello all!

I am at my wits end and will take any help I can get. Here is the
problem. EDM crashes with a segfault when executing any panel with a
text entry field (unconnected fields do not cause the fault). I have
tracked the crash to the following call in pvFactory/textupdate.cc:

XtVaSetValues(widget,
                      XmNeditable, True,
                      XmNforeground, (XtArgVal)textColor.getPixel(actWin->ci),
                      NULL);

If I change XmNeditable from True to False, the segfault goes away.
Unfortunately EDM is not useable with that little mod :)

All of this under Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.4. Has anybody seen
similar behavior?
