Hi James,

The standard areaDetector ROI plugin does the average/max pixel values within an image.

Stephen Mudie from the Australian Synchrotron and John Dobbins from Cornell have modified the ROI plugin to provide the centroid statistics you would also like.  Their code has not been merged back into the areaDetector distribution yet, but you can probably get it from them, or I can get it and make you a beta release.

Hello,

I plan on developing some image processing plugin/s for areaDetector here at Diamond.  I was wondering if anyone else has started a similar project at a different facility?

I would like to do calculations for beam spot dimensions and position, and average/max pixel values within an image.
