at aps, i've done this for the ebricks (2gb memory stick) ... it wasn't
too difficult, just
time. i had to strip a lot of the linux distribution (vector linux) down
to get it to fit, and
configure the kernel to boot from the memory stick. in general, it *is*
possible and has
been done.
