Hello!
At the SLS we have a C-863 controller working properly with
the C-862 EPICS motor
driver. We have it connected through a serial-port to a Linux
PC running a soft-ioc.
We don't have any major problems with it (apart from
some rare disconnections which
we can't figure out the
origin)...
Cheers,
Jose

Mercury motor controller http://www.physikinstrumente.com/en/products/prdetail.php?sortnr=900605 that I would like to
control from epics.
I notice the motor
record support includes a bunch of drvPIC862 files. Does anyone know if
this will drive the C-863? The 862 was replaced by the 863, is there much/any
difference?
