FYI,

Pro-Dex Oregon Micro Systems (OMS) has announced the
end of life for the VME58 family of motion controllers with
the following message.

Ron

Dear Customer:

The time has come to discontinue the production of the VME58 motion control family.  The VME58 family is replaced by the MAXv motion control family which was released a couple years ago with currently several hundred in the field.  The MAXv shares the same command set and offers additional features and capabilities over the older VME58 models.

We are offering a limited last time buy opportunity for the VME58 models and are accepting purchase orders through August 15, 2009, with deliveries through December 15, 2009.

Additionally, in the short term we are offering a special 25% discount on all VME58 models through May 30, limited to stock on hand, and must ship by June 30, 2009.  These are on a fist come first serve basis.  Please contact our Customer Service at (800) 707-8111 or email [email protected] to place your order or for answers to your questions.

Best regards,

Phil Brown
