Hello, I am totally new to epics and quite new to linux. It looks like after
much trouble I have finally been able to compile epics base on cygwin
running under windows xp. I am now trying to get the sample application
running from the "Epics Application Developer's Guide" in section 2. I have
made it down to section 2.2.4 where it asks me to set SNCSEQ. The problem is
I don't really know what to set this to. When I leave this commented out the
application compiles but doesn't run. I see that there is a sncExample.st
file under "myexampleApp/src" that makebaseApp.pl made. When I set this
variable to that location (epics_apps/myexampleApp) and uncomment it the
program fails to compile, the output is:

---------------------------------------------------------

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
