Hi,

That test.html file doesn't work for me, either. CAML 2.0 will be released very soon and offers much more powerful features. I recommend waiting for it. However, if you want to test WebCA with real PVs, I've written a simple probe page in which you can specify a PV and it will display some useful information about it in addition to live monitoring. It demonstrates the basics of WebCA. Let me know whether that works for you.

CAML 2.0 will allow you to simply specify rich controls and lay them out within HTML. You don't have to write any JavaScript (unless you really want to).

best regards,
tom

hi,

I want to use webca. After compiling the code and copy .so file to mozilla's plugin directory. I use firefox to open the test.html coming with webca package. seems the plugin works, while I can't get the pv's value. Ps, I can use caget to acqure the ai001's value first, then start the firefox from the shell to visit that test.html file.
Any help is appreciated. thanks a lot.
