Hi Emmanuel,
I have only used USB/RS232 and USB/RS485 adapters. The P&P magic built into the
Linux kernel maps them automatically to /dev/ttyUSB* where they can be used with
asynDriver just like local serial devices.
For a custom USB device that is not automatically supported by Linux, I would
suggest to write a Linux kernel driver instead of an EPICS driver. Have a look
at http://www.linux-usb.org/
