Two more possibilities (less complicated than 2. and 3.):
4. Set all SCAN fields to the desired scan period, the PHAS field value
to define the order (mbbiDirect first, e.g. PHAS="1", then all bi
records, e.g. PHAS="2"). All bi records' inputs should be NPP.
5. Set SCAN field of mbbiDirect to desired scan period, all bi records'
SCAN to passive, their inputs to CP (or CPP). This will process the bi
records only on demand (when their bit changes).
Note: Setting the bi inputs to MS will forward an alarm status from the
mbbiDirect to the bi records.
