Unfortunately, I can't get it to compile on RHEL WS 3.  Here's the build
log:

You can see that src/toolsComm/antelope is failing to build because it
can't find the Com library.  Looking earlier, it seems that src/libCom
didn't build correctly...it just installed header files, but didn't
compile and install the Com library.  I saw that it reported finding
EPICS version "3.14.10-".  Thinking that might be the problem, I  set
EPICS_CVS_SNAPSHOT in configure/CONFIG_BASE_VERSION to be empty:

  EPICS_CVS_SNAPSHOT=

Now it finds EPICS version "3.14.10", but it still fails in the same
way.  The version of GNU Make (3.79.1) is older than the release notes
say is required (3.81).  Could that be the problem?

The C/C++ compiler is GCC 3.2.3.
