Hi,

It seems whenever I try to call dbGetField within init_record (to get value from another
record, when pass==1) the epics environment (iocInit) blows up with the following message:
A call to "assert (dbLockIsInitialized)" failed in ../dbLock.c at 239

Could you expert guys enlighten me?  How to work around it?
