I have a document W342-E1-05.pdf, in English,  which I found on the
OMRON web site which describes the HostLink and FINS protocols. I can
send it to you if you haven't already found any documentation.

We use HostLink (with streams and asyn) to communicate with a large
number of OMRON CJ1 PLCs over RS-232.
