Dear EPICS Users,

ZTEC Instruments is pleased to announce our new Ethernet/LAN-based ZT4210 EPICS oscilloscopes. Key for the EPICS community, the ZT4210 EPICS units include an embedded EPICS IOC which provides process variables (PVs) for control and query of all instrument functions.

The ZT4210 EPICS units come with 2 or 4 input channels. Key specifications include 300 MHz analog bandwidth, 1 GS/s sampling, and record lengths up to 256Mpoints. The ZT4210 EPICS scopes deliver high channel density (2 or 4 channels in a 1U height, half-rack width package) and are rack-mountable. Additionally, the ZT4210 gives you the features and analysis tools that you would expect from a much larger benchtop oscilloscope.

-          Performs onboard waveform math using four dedicated CALC channels

-          Includes advanced triggering (edge, pulse width, glitch, A-->B, and more)

-          Calculates over 40 waveform parameters

The ZT4210 has a robust analog front end - offering input ranges from 400 Vpp down to 12.5 mVpp and a maximum input of +/-300V (1 M-Ohm input)

With the introduction of the ZT4210, ZTEC now offers EPICS users two oscilloscopes designed to address a variety of remote test and monitoring needs:

- ZT4210 EPICS (www.ztecinstruments.com/tech-talk-zt4210)       2 or 4 input channels      300 MHz bandwidth        1 GS/s max sampling           256Mpoint max record length

- ZT4610 EPICS (www.ztecinstruments.com/tech-talk-zt4610)       2 or 4 input channels      1 GHz bandwidth           4 GS/s max sampling           64Mpoint max record length

Our goal with the ZT4000 series EPICS oscilloscopes is to provide EPICS users with high performance oscilloscopes that offer benchtop scope functionality and that seamlessly integrate into the EPICS environment.

Best Regards,

ZTEC Instruments
