BTW, softIocExit.db is found in $(INSTALL_LOCATION)/db which is usually <base>/db. I'm adding another option to the softIoc in R3.14.10: the arguments -x <prefix> will load that softIocExit.db file with the IOC macro set to <prefix>, which saves you having to remember that filename or provide the path to it.
