With "Perl interface", do you mean ArchiveDataClient.pl ?
That one looks at the network data server,
and not directly at the "archive files".

So can you
a) extract data from the archive files using the command-line
ArchiveExport tool, which indicates that the files are OK but your
network data server
might not be set up correctly to serve them

b) extract data from the the network data server files using the mean
ArchiveDataClient.pl Perl interface, which indicates that the files
and the network data server are OK, and thus the archiveviewer
application
might look at the wrong URL?
