Hi Dehong,
On the client side try setting the environment variable:
EPICS_CA_SERVER_PORT 6064
before starting the client or trying, for example:
caget gateway.connected

./gateway -sport 6064 -cport 5065 -pvlist ./gateway.pvlist -prefix "gateway" -access ./gateway.access
I cannot even access the internal PVs like:
gateway:pvtotal
gateway:active
Please enlighten me.
