I agree, very strange. EDD/DM had a text widget that included the units as well as the value in what it displayed. Does EDM have such a thing?

The 'default' choice button on most of the TextUpdate and similar widgets in fact appends .EGU to most fields in any record (even though it usually only applies to .VAL and maybe .HOPR, .LOPR, etc)
