Look at the file base/configure/os/CONFIG_SITE.win32-x86.win32-x86.
You should uncomment the lines following the comment
# Microsoft Visual C++ .NET is the default compiler

# If you have Visual C++ 6.0, uncomment the following override lines

# This will to eliminate warnings about unknown options /GL, /LTCG, and

I am trying to install EPICS Base-3.14.8.2 on Windows XP having Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0and getting the following error.
