Subject: multiple levels of substitution in msi

Is there a way to get MSI to deal with multiple levels of substitution?

I have several targets that conform to a common pattern. Within each target the same block of records appears multiple times. So ideally I'd like to have a template for the target database which in turn calls a template for the block of records.
