It is now running :-)

Another possibility might be that you need to do a "make rebuild" in order

to force all code to recompile after making the elif defined (_cris_) then

define EPICS_LITTLE_ENDIAN change??

It looks like this has been the (stupid) case, that the application
didn't have the right sources available.
Thanks for the help.
I will do some final clean up and checks and will contact Andrew for
adding the code to next release.
