We still keep a lot of CAMAC resources at KEKB and KEK-Linac, and
we use
  CC/Net from Toyo Japan
  ECC1365 from Hytec
  VSD2992 from Hytec

First two provide the direct Ethernet connections. Since we had
difficulties connecting from multiple unix hosts to ECC1365's,
we limit accesses only from one host. We have to run EPICS IOC/
Gateway on that unix host.

Because of the above reasons, we also introduced CC/Net (when one
of ECC1365 was broken). It contains a standard PC inside the
standard crate controller which should be situated in CAMAC
stations 24 and 25. If you need EPICS, you can run EPICS on it,
as it runs standard Linux like FedoraCore or Debian. If you need
CAMAC performance, you can execute CAMAC transaction every
micro-second (1.04 micro-sec). Since the CAMAC cycle is one
micro-second, it is almost the limit. To my understanding the
price is around $5000 or less.

It was developed by the detector-online group at KEK, and several
accelerator projects around KEK also employ it. Some of the links

(I realize that I don't provide any documents of CC/Net at my
site...)
