Emmanuel,
At the CLS, we use the SLS drivers and Firewire cameras (Sony DFW and
Point Grey Flea2). You may want to take a look at the other tech-talk
thread on the Point Grey Flea2. We use these on our PX, alft and
VESPERS beamlines for sample positioning as well we are just about to
install one on our XSR diagnostic beamline for beam analysis.
We also use a mixture of AXIS web cameras however we don't feed any of
the AXIS cameras into EPICS. There are probably also some other
solutions out there.

Hello,
I am using EPICS on a linux IOC.
I am interested in doing some video acquisition.
I was wondering if anybody has already developed a video epics driver.
If so, what is the hardware/software combination you recommend?
I am looking at all possible solutions, i.e. snapshot mode or 30Hz+ real
time acquisition.
Alternatively, I may be interested in all in-one-device (camera for
acquisition + web server and Ethernet connection device)
At this point anything goes ;-)
