All,
As mentioned at the last EPICS meeting, there is currently an EPICS
project on Source forge https://sourceforge.net/projects/epics/, which
has some (3) support applications in its Subversion repository. I am
currently the owner of the project, but I am happy for it to be used for
any EPICS development done under a recognized Open Source license. Just
register as a source forge user and request to join the EPICS project.
Most application development should be placed in the applications/trunk
area of the repository (which is the equivalent of the synApps support
directory).
On related note, I recently had a note from Source forge that a request
has been received to take over the epics
project. I don't know who submitted this, but if it is someone on the
EPICS tech-talk list I would like to hear from them. Otherwise I will,
of course, reject the request.
Cheers,
Nick Rees
