Hi Claude,

Some pretty good news, although it is true that everything is not clear ...

After having checked once again the whole Java installation, everything seemed to be ok and I still got the problem ... As a last chance, one Java programmer who was passing there at the moment adviced me to try to use netBeans to perform the compilation ... and doing like that, it worked fine (the only thing I have to do was to modify the CableWindow.java and ComponentWindow.java files by replacing the java variable "enum" by "enum2" as "enum" is a reserved word in JDK 1.5).

So lastly, it works (but I don't know why not previously !) and I am able now to run the Irmis desktop : idt::ioc and idt::admin run ok, when I try to launch idt::component or idt::cable, I get an error (Exception : "Unable to find root of housing hierarchy") but I don't mind as I don't need these functionalities . My main objective is to run idt::pv on a filled database so I have now to adapt the crawlers to our environment and that's what I am going to try now, even not having any experience with perl ...
