I meant if one use mvme5500 as the system controller, and mvme6100 as a
2nd CPU.  In this case, mvme5500 is a VME master.  In your message :

It stated that "If the transaction was a VMEbus read, the VME Master
completes the Linkage Module command by
filling the buffer with a data pattern of all ones. "  This only applies
if the master CPU used the Tsi148 chip.

I am sorry, but I had trouble in obtaining the document for the Tsi148.
I had E-mail them since last week.
