Looks like the NetBSD port of EPICS is working properly. At least, all the commands in Chapter 9 now seem to work, as well as the example program, and the caClient program.
I'm going to get the regression test from the website next, and really mess things up.
Question: I'd like to install a display Manager now, so I can setup some really basic displays of variable data. From looking through stuff, I think I want to install EDM. Any suggestions?
Looking through the install instructions on several of these, I keep seeing references to an "Extensions" directory. Is there a specific place things like the sequencer and display managers and drivers need to be untar'd to in order to build correctly?
Still being a pest.....
