I want to run my ioc compiled in linux-x86 architecture to Amida
Simputer with Intel Strong ARM processor and linux. Is it possible?
Intel Strong ARM is a RISC processor whereas x86 is CISC.Please
comment.
It should be possible, but we don't have the build configuration files
for the linux-arm architecture in the current release of EPICS Base. I
believe there are people running with this configuration though, and I
hope they will post their changes here so they can be incorporated into
the next release.
