Noboru,

Yes, we have used CaPython with threads. The use with the Python thread module has been limited; however, in the next month I expect to upgrade our system for managing the detector configuration (EPICS) to use Python Threads for parallel Channel Access operations. I do not think that we have an application in which all three modules are used simultaneously.

I will keep you posted on our progress.

Fritz

Thank you for the information.
KEK version of EPICS CA python interface can now work with Python thread
module after a long delay since EPICS R3.14.

I don't look at the CaPython, FNAL version of EPCIS-Python interface, for a while and I'm not sure if it work with Python's thread module.

Do you use CaPython with Python thread module together with Tkinter module?

Best Regards,

Noboru
