I wrote:
There are boards available now that have 2GB of RAM, meaning that the
RAM extends from 0x00000000 to 0x3fffffff which is a quarter of the
32-bit address space.
As Eric kindly pointed out to me, my math is out by a factor of 2 - 2GB
of RAM would extend from 0x00000000 to 0x7fffffff. This merely makes my
case for a devLib A32 malloc() API even more urgent...
