I agree. We use EZCA a lot from IDL and from Visual Basic. I do see the problems with reconnects on IOC reboot. If this has been fixed in the labCA version

I believe to have fixed it in labca_2_1. It passed elementary
testing.

into the version of EZCA that is in EPICS extensions.
