Has your EPICS base been moved (renamed) or mangled after it was built?

Check that "/opt/epicsbase3-14/lib/linux-x86/libdbStaticHost.so" exists.

Then check that you have your LD_LIBRARY_PATH setup to point to the

location of your EPICS shared libraries

You shouldn't have to deal with LD_LIBRARY_PATH issues if you leave the libraries where they were built.

Also -- not that this has anything to do with the problem mentioned above, but ASYN-4.3 is getting to be a rather old release.
