Subject: How to kill an IOC from a Client

We have discovered a way of reliably killing an IOC from a client. All
you need to do is request the value of the DTYP field from some records
(e.g. the dfanout record) and the IOC will instantaneously die.

Very useful, but probably not intentional.

We are using EPICS 3.14.6 on varieties of Red Hat Linux.
