Hi,

EPICS-Python interface ala KEK could not handle thread in Python.
Today, I'm very pleased to announce that the latest version of EPICS-Python interface library,CaPython314, is compatible with thread
enabled EPICS CA library, i.e. it create ca_context with ca_enable_preemptive_callback.

You can find the information and source code at:

http://www-acc.kek.jp/EPICS_Gr/products.html

I also developing the software named devPy, though it is still in the experimental stage. Using the this software, you can use Python programming language to develop device support for EPICS. The web page
also includes a (VERY) brief description of the software.

Your comments and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Best regards,
