Hi Sue,

I have written a driver for the Ethernet Interface of the Siemens S7 PLC. I don't know how the DirectLogic DL06 works, but have a look at http://epics.web.psi.ch/software/s7plc

The driver sends and receives blocks with many PVs and the records pick their bit out of the data blocks.
