I'm wondering if I missed something but initHookRegister is not
registered with the registry or implemented as an iocsh command. Does
it need to be registered? I'm running EPICS 3.14.8.2 on Linux.
The single argument to initHookRegister() is a pointer to your
initHookFunction. Since the iocsh has no way to convert your function
name into that pointer, this is only useful as a command in vxWorks, so
it makes little sense to register it as an iocsh command.
To use initHookRegister() in a non-vxWorks system you'll have to call it
from C code either in your main() program, or from some other function
that is exported and named in a DBD file as a registrar routine.
