Hi Max,
There is a pure database solution (no C code) for the 8752 in the
synApps "ip" module, called picoMotor.db It uses asyn records for the
I/O, so it should work with serial or TCP/IP. It uses "transform" and
"scalcout" records, which are from the "calc" module in synApps.
