Hi,
we put together this in EDM. The button which was supposed to do the critical

thing was actually a related display button. On the window that popped
up there

were two buttons, the "OK" button (message button) which actually did
something

and the "Cancel" buttton (exit button) which just closed the pop-up.

Does someone do something similar with EDM or other EPICS means? I
can think of several ways to implement this, each of which is
cumbersome. (Note to Bob: yes, even an SNL program could do it!)
