                        July 10-14th, 2006

Observatory Sciences Ltd. is pleased to announce that we will be
presenting our first public EPICS training course, open to all, in
Cambridge, England during the week July 10-14th 2006.

Over the last 6 years, Observatory Sciences has run in-house EPICS
training courses to scientific projects and institutions, presented
to a group of employees on the client's premises. This public course
is intended to provide an EPICS training opportunity for smaller
groups, companies and individuals.

The course will include overview and introductory material as well
as covering more advanced material such as EPICS device, driver
and record support software. The course, which will have a maximum
of 10 participants, will include extensive hands-on exercises using
systems provided for the purpose.

The course will be presented using EPICS version 3.14 on a Linux
platform and include use of the EDM display manager and Visual
DCT database definition tool. If you have any special requests
for material that you would like to see covered, please let us know.

The course location will be in central Cambridge, which has
good public transport links with London's Stansted and Heathrow
airports.

The price for the course, including extensive course notes and
background material, will be 1150 UK Pounds per person.

A 10% discount is available for early booking (before May 15th).
A further 5% discount will be available for bookings of 3 or
more people together.

Observatory Sciences reserves the right to cancel the course
in the event of insufficient registered participants.

Previous courses have been presented by OSL to: the Isaac
Newton Group, the UK Astronomy Technology Centre, the University
of Durham, University College London, Daresbury Laboratory,
Diamond Light Source, the Australian Synchrotron Project and
the Gemini Observatory, Chile.
