We are running EPICS release 3.13.10 on our production MV162s, Intel Mariners, and PC104 IOCs. Are there any compatibility issues creating new client programs that link against 3.14.x and access a 3.13.10 CA server?
No, we've been doing that here at APS for some time. I would recommend that you use 3.14.8.2 rather than 3.14.8 though as there is one Channel Access bug fix included in the latter version.
