All,

A second message giving more details about the upcoming synApps workshop
at Diamond. If you are going to come, please let me know so I have an
idea of the numbers.

Title: EPICS synApps workshop on beamline controls - Part 2.

Details: Diamond Light Source will be holding a training course and
workshop on the synApps beamline control package and advanced beamline
interfacing issues from 20-22 February. The invited speaker will be Mark
Rivers, who has spent many years developing EPICS software on beamlines,
as well as being a senior scientist at the University of Chicago and the
Principal Investigator on the GSECARS beamlines at APS. The agenda is
given below, but within the three day constraint we will be flexible.

Location:
Most of the course will be held in the training room (Room 1.17) at
Diamond House, which is at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory. The full
