No, but I am using the HA5 from Embedded Data Systems as an RS-232 to
1-wire bridge. The HA5 gives you an ASCII command set over RS-232 to
communicate to your 1-wire devices, so you can use any of the various
EPICS RS-232 support packages. EDS also has an ethernet to 1-wire host
adaptor which I have not tried but may be of interest to you. Trying to
implement the 1-wire protocol in software on an IOC seems problematic and
I would recommend looking at the host adaptors instead (EDS calls them
"Intelligent Bus Masters").
Also, if you decide to use 1-wire devices, Maxim/Dallas-Semiconductor has
an application note on building reliable 1-wire networks. Read it and
follow its recommendations. In our experience, the 1-wire networks can be
very fussy. Once they are working, they seem to be reasonably reliable,
but it wasn't fun getting them to that point.
Feel free to contact me directly if you'd like more details.
