Hi,
ca_host_name() function returns IOC name that have PV. This function is used in probe and gives IOC name and port number. So it isOk. When I use it in Windows, Epics 3.14.7, VC2003 I get local (client or OPI) PC name. Any idea?

This feature is broken in R3.14.7 (even on other platforms). Upgrading to R3.14.9 (which will be out soon) will fix your problem.
By the way, you may have noticed I recommended R3.14.9. We recently found a problem with R3.14.8 and will be generating a new release shortly.
