I am interested in how the following infrastructure issues are handled
at different EPICS sites. Please direct answers to me and I will make
the survey results available on our web-site.
a) how many server-type computers are used by the controls group (both
for operation and development)?
b) what relational database(s) are used by the controls group?
c) does your site have an IT group or department outside the controls group.
If the answer to c) is yes:
d) how big is the IT group?
d) who supports the controls servers (i.e. software install, backup,
etc.), IT or controls?
e) who supports the relational database infrastructure, IT or controls?
