Hi all- we're trying to build a modified version of the SNC (state program compiler)
for local 3.14.6 development, and my attempts at making it use the test copy are falling short.
I've tried telling configure/RELEASE where the test compiler is via:
#If using the sequencer, point SNCSEQ at its top directory:
SNCSEQ=/u/cd/xyz/work/seq-2.0.10
... but the build fails with:
gmake[1]: Entering directory `/u/cd/xyz/tmp-xyz/ioc/configure'
perl <SLACstuff>/epics/R3.14.6/base/configure/tools/convertRelease.pl -h solaris-sparc checkRelease
Definition of SNCSEQ conflicts with SNCSEQ support.
In this application configure/RELEASE defines
SNCSEQ = /u/cd/xyz/work/seq-2.0.10
but SNCSEQ at has
SNCSEQ = <SLACstuff>/epics/R3.14.6/site
gmake[1]: *** [checkRelease] Error 1
I don't see where the second definition in the error comes from. It's not
anywhere in the installed EPICS area that I can find.
thanks,
Mike
