Hi Deb,
Good to hear from you after all this time! We have been playing with it
for a bit and are just about to move to it at Diamond for all R3.14 work
- since the build changed so much for R3.14 we thought this was a good
breakpoint. So far we like it, and the directory structure model for
branching and tagging is, I think, easier for neophytes to understand
than the CVS dot-delimited versions and alpha numeric tags.
As Leonard says, for the simple tasks it is similar to CVS. For the
complex tasks we have read the books and adopted what seems like a
reasonable set of conventions, backed up by scripts to automate (and
enforce) them. In a few months it will be truly blooded and I'll be able
to give the full story, but so far, so good.
Cheers,
Nick Rees

Subject: Subversion
Hello
Is anyone using Subversion, the open source version control system
replacement for CVS? If so, is it working well, have you had any
problems, etc.?
thanks in advance!
