Subject: Invisible genSub record

I'm trying to use genSub record v1-6 I found in synApps 5-1 under EPICS 3.14.7 on a linux-x86 machine. The record is getting processed and my init and process routines are getting called correctly, but the record does not appear in the list of records produced by dbl. Trying to access it by name results in a dbNameToAddr failure. Anybody want to hazard a guess what's gone wrong?
