Greetings from L.I. I have a colleague that accesses the channels on our IOC's using code that relies on caGet. My understanding (which is very limited) is that this feature comes with the extension CaWingz. The history behind all of this predeates me by years. The tools in question are run off a Solaris. My colleague is upgrading to a Linux (likely multiple Linux'). We figure we will have to build channel access utilities for him, but it appears caWingz isnt supported. I believe he actually has channel access binaries already in place and has demonstrated he can use caget... but has lots of code that uses caGet... Can you build caWingz on Linux? Is there something similar/newer that we can use? Basicaly similar that can read a list of channels (say from a file) and do caget... Thanks in advance,
