Dear All,
Many of you will already have received this mail via all lists. Could I request that you send this on to whatever mailing list that you have which you feel may be of relevance. Obviously we wish to reach as many people as possible with this request for submission of abstracts.
Many thanks for your help in this,

Wayne

Subject: ICALEPCS2005 - Request for Abstract Submission

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to invite you to submit abstracts for ICALEPCS2005. Abstract submission opens on the 11th April 2005 and will close on the 29th April 2005.

Abstracts may be submitted to any one of the following 8 Tracks:

1-Status Report on Projects <http://icalepcs2005.web.cern.ch/Icalepcs2005/ConferenceProg.html#Track1#Track1>

2-Process Tuning, Automation and Synchronisation <http://icalepcs2005.web.cern.ch/Icalepcs2005/ConferenceProg.html#Track2#Track2>

3-Security and Other Major Challenges <http://icalepcs2005.web.cern.ch/Icalepcs2005/ConferenceProg.html#Track3#Track3>

4-Hardware Technology Evolution <http://icalepcs2005.web.cern.ch/Icalepcs2005/ConferenceProg.html#Track4#Track4>

ICALEPCS2005 will be the Tenth International Conference on Accelerator and Large Experimental Physics Control Systems and will be held in the International Conference Center of Geneva (CICG <http://www.cicg.ch/>), Switzerland, from 10 to 14 October 2005.

This conference is the reference conference for those who are involved worldwide in the field of controls and who have an interest in the challenging aspects of Experimental Physics Control Systems, i.e. control systems for sophisticated facilities such as particle accelerators, particle detectors, optical and radio telescopes, nuclear fusion facilities, gravitational wave detectors , ...

It is organised jointly by CERN <http://www.cern.ch/> (Geneva) and the EPFL-CRPP <http://crppwww.epfl.ch/>(Lausanne), co-organized by the European Physical Society (EPS) Interdivisional Group on Experimental Physics Control Systems (EPCS) and under auspices of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) through its Nuclear and Plasma Science Society (NPSS), the Association of Asia Pacific Physics Societies (AAPPS), the American Physical Society (APS) and the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP) through its Technical Committee on Computer Applications in Technology (TC5).

You will find more details, key dates and regularly updated news on:

http://icalepcs2005.web.cern.ch/

We look forward to welcoming you in Geneva.

Best Regards,

Wayne Salter – Chairman of the ICALEPCS2005 Programme Committee
